Asperger's Students are Being Welcomed at Universities

Colleges and universities are now starting to realize the importance of neurodiversity on their campuses.  Schools such as Drexel University in Philadelphia have Autism support programs in place and coordinators to assist students in thriving, while having their individual needs met as well.  Students are eligible for copies of lecture notes, extended time on tests, and a quieter test environment for example.   Schools are appreciating the components of Asperger's and meeting those needs academically.

Colleges and universities understand that these individuals with high intelligence need help in organizing and setting priorities.  This added assistance on the college level is helping more and more to realize their dreams and contribute to society.
